LADO Hakkında
LADO International Institute, 35 yıldan fazladır tüm dünyadan öğrencilere yabancı dil eğitimi sunmaktadır. LADO’nun sezgisel üç-adımdan oluşan “Total Approach Metodu”, yabancı dilde uzmanlaştırma konusunda başarısı kanıtlanmış bir eğitim yaklaşımıdır. Bu yaklaşım farklı öğrenme stillerine uygundur ve aynı zamanda öğrencinin ana dilini, kültürünü ve eğitim durumunu da göz önünde bulundurur.
LADO müfredatı, 1977’den beri 70’den fazla ülkede dil eğitimi amacıyla kullanılmakta ve 180’den fazla ülkede yüzbinlerce mezunumuz bulunmaktadır.
Misyonumuz
Uygulamalı dil bilimci Dr. Robert Lado’dan ilham alan yüksek kalitede İngilizce Programları, Akademik Amaçlar için İngilizce, İspanyolca ve İngilizce Öğretmenliği Programları sunarak, öğrencilerimizin hayallerine kavuşmasına yardımcı olmaktır.
Tarihçe
Bazı insanlar dünyayı değiştirebilirler… ve Dr. Robert Lado’nun yaptığı da buydu. O, dünyanın İngilizce öğrenme biçimini değiştirdi.
Dr. Lado Amerika’da doğdu ancak İngilizce konuşmayı henüz öğrenmeden önce ailesi, ABD’den İspanya’ya taşındı. Dr. Lado 21 yaşında ABD’ye geri döndü ve İngilizceyi bir yetişkin olarak öğrenme deneyimi, ona yabancı dil eğitiminde hayatı boyunca uygulamalı bir bakış açısına sahip olması ve sıra dışı bir eğitim metodu geliştirmesi konusunda ilham verdi.
Texas Üniversitesinde master ve Michingan Üniversitesinde doktora eğitimini tamamlayan Dr. Lado, 1960 yılında, Georgetown Üniversitesinde yabancı diller ve dilbilimi fakültesini kurdu ve orada 1973 yılına kadar dekan olarak hizmet etti. 1977 yılında emekli oldu ve kendi dil okulu LADO International Institute’yü kurdu. TESOL programının da kurucularından biri olan Dr. Lado, İngilizce eğitimi hakkında 60’dan fazla kitap ve çok sayıda makale yazdı.
Aynı zamanda Dr. LADO, dil eğitiminde en etkili metotlardan biri olan “Total Approach” metodunun yaratıcısıdır. Bu metot, 35 yıldan fazladır 70 den fazla ülkede başarıyla kullanılmaktadır.
