LADO saves you time and energy by helping you plan your homestay accommodations. To reserve your accommodation, we require a one-time, non-refundable placement fee of $200 that can be paid when you register for classes. This fee guarantees your placement.

LADO has partnered with Baldwin Wallace University to offer international students seeking to learn English the unique opportunity to study and experience American college life. The partnership also allows students to earn a Bachelor's or Master's degree at BW. About Baldwin Wallace University Founded in 1845, BW was one of the first colleges to admit students without regard to race or gender. An independent, coeducational university of 4,000 students, BW offers coursework in the liberal arts tradition in more than 60 academic areas. Located in Berea, 12 miles from downtown Cleveland, BW offers students the cultural, educational and business advantages of a major metropolitan area. CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE TO BALDWIN WALLACE UNIVERSITY Students conditionally accepted into Baldwin Wallace University are required to demonstrate English language proficiency as indicated by successful completion of the LADO ESL Level 10 with a score of at least 85%, and also a letter of recommendation from a LADO program director. Additionally, once enrolled at BW, students are required to take a semester of bridge courses which will be selected by academic advisors.
